Remembering .....

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks.  Everyone that knows me knows how bad I can be at staying on top of things like this :)  I think I feel a lot like many of you today ... in thinking of all the lives that were lost 10 years ago and all the families that were affected by that horrible day!  At church today, as I looked around when we were singing God Bless America, I think that every woman was wiping away tears just as I was and thinking about how things were before that day and how they are now.

How blessed I am each and every day to be able to do the things I love and be with the people I care about!!  Thanks to all those who serve to protect that freedom.  God Bless.

New Clubs Starting ---

Hi All!!

Been busy trying to get my kiddos ready for school.  Still can't believe it starts next week...time flies ;)

Just wanted to share a couple of cards that we will be making at the new club starting next Friday at my house.  These were both cards I received at the the SU! convention this summer.  This first card was made by Jackie Ross.  Love it!

I absolutely love the colors in this card!!  It was made by Debbie Iantorno.  Thanks ladies for the great ideas!

Isn't this card sooooo cute????

I got some great ideas while I was at the Stampin' Up! convention this year for this class.  As everyone that has come to my classes knows....I LOVE punching!!  I can't seem to stop myself sometimes from adding it to just about every card I make ;o)  This is one of the cards (ours will be modified a bit) we will be making at this class this weekend.  We will be making a total of 4 cute punched cards for $15.  This cute idea came from LeeAnn Greff.  Check out her blog at www.flowerbug.typepad.com.  She has some great ideas!!  

Hope you can make it to this class.  Email me if you want to come or if you just would like to pick up a kit.  I am more than happy to put extras together.

Convention 2011 ---

Just had to show a few fun pictures from my adventures in Salt Lake a few weeks ago for the Stampin' Up! convention.

  This is my roommate, Robyn Scherzer, and I getting ready for the first general session.  We room together every year and have a blast ;o)  She's so crazy!!  I love ya, girl ;o)

Stampers For a Cause ---

Over 17 years ago my mom died due to brain cancer.  I remember how long my mom suffered and how many friends just stopped calling when she became ill and it broke my heart!  A few years ago I stumbled across some ladies that send cards to children that have brain cancer.  This group is called Send Love Today and all I can say is how wonderful all the people involved with this group are.  Anyone can sign up to send handmade cards and the ladies that run this great program tell you which child/children you are assigned for that month and you send them cards to say how you are thinking of them and wish them all the best!!  You can even send little gifts if you want...whatever you feel that you can do.  If you feel you can help as well please contact them......www.sendlovetoday.org

My First Blog Entry ---

I can't believe that I have finally got a blog!  My son, Mathew and my daughter, Makenna probably could have done this for me a long time ago but my friend, Robyn came through and got me going.  Thanks Robyn!!  Convention 2011 was the best convention yet~lots of free stuff...much more than previous years and some more awesome ideas to share with you all.  Hopefully I learn as I go along and things become smoother.

Please try to keep me posting (I promised myself that I would try to update at least about every other day :) so I can keep myself stamping and having fun sharing.  Hope you come back and see me soon.
